Though a simple pull test in principle, it is difficult to
guarantee true “shear deformation” in the material! That’s why we
have optimized the geometry of the test sample in order to achieve
the desired deformation mode and thus generate “shear
stress/strain curves”, and offer the right support for fracture
model calibration efforts
